Throughout the year, we celebrate the changing seasons festivals and other events. Festivals are held during our regular Saturday market, but we invite guest vendors and community partners to provide a little extra entertainment and information for our customers.

SNAP &
Double Up Food Bucks

Cowtown Farmers Market is pleased to be able to accept SNAP EBT at our market. Customers may use their SNAP benefits to purchase qualifying items. 

SNAP customers are also eligible to double their purchasing power through the Double Up Food Bucks program supported by Blue Zones Project

Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)

Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) is available from April through October for qualifying WIC participants. These participants receive $30 vouchers to purchase fruits, vegetables and herbs at participating markets in Tarrant County.

Nutrition & Education

Cowtown Farmers Market partners with local organizations like Tarrant Area Food Bank, Blue Zones Project and TCU Nutritional Sciences to provide regular cooking demonstrations, gardening information, and nutrition education to help our customers make the most of their farmers market experience.
